Fundació Monti-Sion Solidària (FMS)
Montision Solidaria, is a non profit organisation that provides support to vulnerable people in Mallorca and promotes self sufficiency. FMS provides for people's material needs such as food, clothes, baby baskets, toys, afternoon snacks for children and backpacks for school. They also support people on their path to self sufficiency, for example through special training courses, a legal clinic and tutoring. FMS supports over 6,000 individuals on the island annually and is run by more than 200 volunteers. FMS works closely with City Hall and focuses on helping people rebuild their lives with dignity and direction.

Art exhibitions
ART for a good reason organize art exhibitions featuring donated works from generous, Mallorca-based artists, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the local charity Fundació Monti-Sion Solidària (FMS).
Children's clothes and toys raising
Before the Christmas holidays we collect children's clothes and toys for families who receive help from FMS.
The Church of Sweden offers its premises where we can receive the gifts from our generous donors..
Who we are
The initiative was founded by six Swedish women, all living part time in Mallorca. We love the island deeply and want to give something back. We raise money and items to donate to charities that improve the lives of residents who are struggling.
Said about ART for a good reason
The Swedish art initiative ART for a good reason has officially been awarded an honorary distinction by the charity organization Fundació Monti-Sion Solidària (FMS) in Mallorca. The award recognizes the group’s significant financial contributions and its ability to unite artistic creativity with social solidarity.
PALMA, MALLORCA. At a board meeting on June 9, 2026, the foundation Fundació d’Ajuda Integral a les persones Monti-Sion Solidària decided to grant its official recognition to the Swedish project ART for a good reason. The certificate, signed in Palma by the organization’s President Blai Vidal Bibiloni and Secretary José de Juan Orlandis, highlights the important collaboration between Sweden and Spain.
By organizing art exhibitions where 100% of the proceeds are donated to charitable causes, the Swedish team has succeeded in transforming creativity into direct practical and financial support for the organization’s work with vulnerable individuals.
In its statement, the foundation expresses its deep gratitude for the strong commitment:
“Our Swedish benefactors have succeeded in weaving together art and solidarity, an alliance that has borne fruit in the form of art exhibitions and substantial financial contributions. Through this, our Swedish friends have now also become a part of Mallorca.”
The distinction is a prestigious acknowledgement that ART for a good reason has succeeded in its vision — to make the world a little more beautiful and a great deal better, one artwork at a time. For Mallorca – by Mallorca.

In front of 300 guests — including Sr. Jose Hila (senator and former mayor of Palma), prominent Mallorcan families and politicians — Annika Rönngren, representing ART for a good reason, accepted the award from Sr. Blai Vidal, founder of FMS.
